Turmeric and black pepper in one capsule. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a root from the ginger family that has long been used in cooking, not least in Indian food. Vitanord Turmeric puts ground turmeric root and a little black pepper in one capsule, so you do not have to measure out the spice yourself.
Powder, not extract
Vitanord Turmeric contains ground turmeric root, not a standardised extract. That is why we do not state a kurkumin content. Curcumin is what gives the root its yellow colour. Each capsule contains 500 mg turmeric root powder and 5 mg black pepper.
Why black pepper?
Turmeric and black pepper are a classic pairing in the kitchen. The EU has not yet authorised any health claims for turmeric or black pepper, so we only describe what the capsule contains.
How to take Vitanord Turmeric
